Communications Ministry

 

My Dear Members,

Following up on Christian Stewardship Unit 3 which we presented during Lent, it is my intention from time to time, to present the various ministries to you through this forum, with the hope that perhaps if your not involved in any ministry, you might just find something that suits you.

This week I focus on the Communication Ministry. The work of this ministry is varied and covers several areas from public relations to social media. Below I have broken it down as simply as I could.

1.Public Relations

To write articles for the print media and/or bulletin on upcoming Parish events. To assist with publicity production ie. Flyers and Posters sent to business houses and other Parishes.

2.  Website Management

To assist with uploading information and pictures on the Parish website. Also coming up with new ideas for the website, which is in the process of being rebuilt.

3. Event Photography

Persons to assist with taking pictures of Church events & services either with the Parish camera or their own cameras and cell phones and emailed to the Church office.

4. Power Point operations and development

Persons needed to operate the powerpoint on Sundays at both services as well as to offer new ideas to expand this service.

5. Social Media

Persons who are facebook and/or twitter savvy (young persons) who can manage our facebook page and start a twitter following for Holy Spirit Anglican Church in Nassau.
